Hevajra is an extremely powerful tantric meditation that offers all the most efficient methods for attaining perfect Buddhahood. This practice alone allows us to attain the final result of all practices. The initiation into the mandala of Shri Hevajra, and the practice of this meditation gives rise to the view of the ultimate reality called ‘the non-differentiation of samsara and nirvana’. The one who gives rise to that view attains Buddhahood.  He (in He-vajra) refers to compassion, which is the method, while wisdom is like a Vajra. Therefore, Hevajra is the union of objectless great compassion and great wisdom of a Buddha. Having received the initiation of Hevajra, we will study different aspects of this practice and the respective view during our weekly sessions at the centre.

His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, the eldest son of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin, is considered one of the most highly qualified lineage masters of Tibetan Buddhism.
